REMEMBRANCE SERVICE – Sunday 9th November 2025
The Remembrance service will be taking place at 10am at Settle Parish Church followed by the procession down to the war memorial for the laying of wreaths and the Act of Remembrance.
Settle is a Market Town located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Settle provides a centre for goods and services to a much larger population with many outlying villages having Settle as their nearest town. Settle also has many tourists and day visitors, particularly in the summer. There are a number of large camping and caravan grounds nearby and the area is very popular with walkers, cyclists and outdoor pursuits.

North Yorkshire Council Highways will be undertaking resurfacing and patching works on Duke Street, Settle commencing on the 16th September 2025.
Settle Town Council is seeking a self-motivated person and skilled Handy person / Gardener to join the team. You will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty and functionality of public spaces across Settle.
Settle Town Council have taken over the ownership of the defibrillator located in the entrance of the Town Hall
