Defibrillator back in action

Settle Town Council have taken over the ownership of the defibrillator located in the entrance of the Town Hall

Published: 4 June 2025

Settle Town Council have recently taken over the ownership of the defibrillator located in the entrance of the Town Hall and will be responsible for the ongoing costs and maintenance.  Without the Council agreeing to take over the ownership the defib would have remained out of service and the town would have lost a vital resource.

The Council agreed it is an absolute necessity to have access to a defib 24hours a day in the centre of town and have recently purchased new pads and a battery to ensure that the defib is back in service and working once more.  The Council would like to thank, Brian, a local volunteer who will be assisting with the guardianship of this important resource.
