Proposed closure of Arla site in Settle

Settle Town Council notes with concern the proposed closure of the Settle Arla site. Settle Town Council fully supports the work of MP Julian Smith, David Skaith Mayor of York and North Yorkshire, North Yorkshire Councillor David Staveley, GMB Union and the Environment Agency in their work to find a solution for the best outcome for the Town.  

Settle Town Council wishes to be kept informed of the progress and updated on an ongoing basis and asks to be involved where appropriate.  

Settle Town Council has formed a working party to monitor and respond to ongoing developments.
