Defibrillators
Please visit the British Heart Foundation's Defibrillator Finder map to locate your nearest defibrillator: https://www.defibfinder.uk/ In a emergency please call 999. The operator will provide all necessary information for quickly accessing the cabinet to retrieve the defibrillator.
Settle Town Council recently took over the ownership of the Defibrillator located at the entrance to the Town Hall. This has been registered on The Circuit, the national defibrillator network. This means that when someone calls 999, ambulance service call handlers can identify the nearest available defibrillator and direct members of the public to it, helping to save valuable time when every second counts.
Having access to this life-saving equipment ensures that our community is better prepared to swiftly respond to critical situations. Immediate access to a defibrillator can be the difference between life and death.
